yarn over question

My instructions say: "Increase in first st, (yo, K2tog) across row to last 2 sts, K2 tog."
I'm new to the yarn over stitch, so are these instructions telling me to do a yo stitch and THEN K2tog, or to yo and K2tog in the same stitch? I hope my question is understandable and I thank you for any information.

YO Question
by: Ratchadawan

Hello there,

Make one increase in first st (you can do knit in front and back of the stitch or pick up and knit) See video below. Then do a set of "yo, k2tog" all the way to last 2 sts. Then just k2tog. In the other word, you will have yo every time before k2tog except for the last k2tog. I hope this makes sense.

Knit into front and back of the same stitch

Increase a stitch by picking up horizontal strain between 2 stitches.

Thank you for sharing your question with us. Have a great day!
