Wrap and turn process

First time knitting a shawl using short rows. I have finished my 41 rows and I ended int he middle of the shawl. Then is states to knit to the end. if I do that one half of the shawl will have a half more row than the other side. When you do short rows you keep moving the markers closer to the middle of the item. Stuck?

I can't really tell you from the info you gave me above. I need to know the setting of the short row of the shawl you are making.
