Will I have to rip out all I have knitted?

I have been knitting with 3 and 3/4 needles- pattern says 4mm....aaaargh!! Will I have to rip out all I have done or will it not matter too much?

Hi Eleanor,

It depends on what you're making. You can compare you gauge to the pattern gauge and see the differences. If you're a loose knitter, you might be lucky and getting the same gauge as the pattern.

I wouldn't be worry too much if I'm making a shawl or scarf. But it would be matter a lot if I'm making a sweater.
