What to do with stitch marker

Pattern : knit to one stitch before Marker K3tog
I am confused on what to do with the stitch marker
Do I knit it with the 3 stitches?? I have to repeat this row 20 times

It is Row 5 in the pattern pictured below

Hi Lisa,

Yes, I see that in row 3 as well.
The stitch marker #2 is on the center stitch and each time you make a new k3tog, you move that marker onto the center stitch. You'll alway k3tog a stitch before the marker, the marked stitch and the stitch after the marked stitch. So, I would use a marker that can be opened and closed like a safety pin.
