Voliere yarns from Knit Picks

What does this mean?

by Ellen

I have a shawl I am knitting with 110 sts on a circular needle. And one of the lines states...KFB, (K10, bobble) to last 10 sts, k8, K2tog.
I am not sure if I knit 10 sts then do a bobble st and then 10 more, etc. I'm new to knitting and trying to also figure out a simple way to do bobbles.

Hi Ellen,

"KFB, (K10, bobble) to last 10 sts, k8, K2tog"

This is not very clear to me either. It looks to me like you do KFB, then repeat (k10, bobble) until you come to last 10 sts, then k8, k2tog. The pattern should have written like this though;

It should have the word repeat where it wants repeat to happen.
Is this all of the instruction for this line or you just gave me a part of it. If this is all of it then, I would do just that.

KFB, (knit 10sts, make bobble) repeat ( ) to last 10 sts, knit 8sts, knit 2 together.

Here is how to make bobble video;

Thanks for the question.
Have fun knitting!

Ratcha
