Switching Needles

by Maiya

I'm following an aran sweater pattern and one of the instructions says to switch needles. Does this mean pull out the smaller needle and insert the larger one, or to leave the stitches and start the next row on the larger needle?

Hi Maiya,

Thanks for visiting. You leave the stitches on the current needle and use a new one (larger size) to start a new row. And then continue with the larger size as per the pattern.

Have a great day!
