sweater pattern question - armholes bind off

Working fronts and back at once with separate balls of yarn, continue working established pat and buttonholes and bind off at armhole edges,3 sts0times,2 sts2 times, then 1st2 times, end with a ws row.

I know they are talking about the armholes but i don't understand this part of this. what do they mean 3sts 0 times, 2 sts 2 times, then 1 st2 times.

Thank you

sweater pattern - armholes bind off
by: Ratcha

Hello,

Thank you for sending in your question.

"I know they are talking about the armholes but i don't understand this part of this. what do they mean [3sts] 0 times, [2 sts] 2 times, then [1 st]2 times."

This means you'll need to bind off at each armhole edge as follow;

Bind off 2 sts at armhole edge 2 times, and then bind off 1 st at armhole edge 2 times. For the first bind off of 3 sts is omitted since it's for 0 time.

I hope this helps. Thank for visiting.
Have a great day!

Ratcha
