Sirdar pattern 4881 question

Beginning the first row after stocking stitch.
I am using the 5th size ( so it is 4 in the bracket)
It reads, K3(1:0:3:3:3)(yfwd,S1,k1,psso,k2) 1 (1:0:0:1:1) times,
The initial instruction in the pattern reads: K3(1:0:3:3:3) do I knit 3 stitches only? or do I knit 3 stitches, 3 times? It does not say “ times “ after the bracket. So I’m assuming the information is informing the knitter of how many stitches, not how many times. Help please.

Hello Lori,

Yes, you're right on! There is no "time" after the bracket, so all you need to do is k3, then( yfwd, sl1k1psso,k2) 1 time.
