Does it mean Purl on wrong side then straight stitch 2 rows on the right side?

Hi Lori,

I'm not sure if I'm right but I think you purl 1 row, knit one row, and purl 1 row. this is to make stockinette stitch pattern (st st).

I finished this hat awhile ago but didn’t get a chance to post it. It is my experimental piece. The Pom Pom can be remove when you want to put up a pony tail. Thanks to my models who can tolerates such condition. :)
