Reversing directions for a left front sweater.

I am instructed to reverse all directions for the left front of a cardigan. There is a 15 stitch lace pattern with k2 tog, yo, and ssk. When knitting the left side do I also reverse the lace panel symbols? Should I , for example, ssk when a k2 tog is indicated and vice versa?
I think all patterns for right and left side knitting should give full instructions to the knitter. By the way, the lace panel is simply a vertical diamond pattern.

Hello Linda,

Thank you for your question and visit. I agree, I think they should write out the instruction for both sides. It sure saves a lot of time and space for them this way though.

No, don't change the lace pattern. Keep it that way. Only focus on the main things like armhole shaping, neck edge and so forth.

Have fun making your cardigan.
Take care,

Ratcha
