Sure hope someone can help since I just don't get
1. Work 22 rows ending with RS facing for next row (I get this) then 64 st total here
2. Inc 1 at each end of next and 2 following 22nd rows, then on 1 following 24th rows. (72)
3.Work 23 rows, ending with RS facing for next row (work should measure 16.7inchesPlace markers both ends for armhole opening

#2 I increased 1 st each end on 23 row which is 2 st but don't get following 22nd rows, etc since I increased in the middle of the cardigan

Please help I just don't get it

this is how I understand it;
Inc 1 st at each end for the next 4 row. You'll have 8 sts increases in total and ending with row 25.
