Put together

I have completed knitting a knitted coat with raglan sleeves and cowl collar using bulky wool. I would like to know if there is a link to a written or visual link that would help put together my project. In what order do you put it together and how do you know if your cowl collar is long enough.

Cheryl Brunette has very good video series on how to finish sweater. You might like to look at them.

As for the length of the cowl, I think it's probably good to try it on you while it's in progress. This way you can decide what look best on you. It's a matter of personal preference, I think. Just keep in mind that the collar will hang a little lower after wash.
