Pattern runs out before end of row

by Corinne Potter
(Canada)

Although I have cast on the right number of stitches, often the pattern runs out before the end of the row and I am left with, example two or three stitches at the end of the row. What do I do with those stitches? Do I start the pattern again or do I go to the next row as written?

Hi Corinne,

What pattern are you using? In my experience if you follow a pattern from a book or the web, you should have the right numbers of stitches to work with. Can you tell me more about the pattern you're using? Perhaps I can understand more.

When you're trying to incorporate stitch pattern into your work then make sure you add the end number to it. For example, a pattern of a multiple of 6 + 3. Then you will do multiple set of 6st and then add 3 more sts to it.

Please let me know.

Ratcha
