Pattern Question


I do not understand what this Dec rnd means:

*Work 12 sts, p1, p2tog, p1; rep from * around-90 sits. Work even 3 rnds.

Do I stop the original pattern?

No, don't stop the horseshoe cable pattern. You continue with the pattern for 12 sts, and then do the p1, p2tog, p1. Then repeat each set the same way. In each set you should have 1 dec from the p2tog.
You should end up with 90 sts at the end of this round.
