Multiple of 10 stitches means what

What does “Cast on 130 sts (multiple of 10 sts)” mean?
Should I simply cast on 140 stitches? The “multiple of 10 sts” is confusing me. Thank you.

Hi Shamim,

"multiple of 10 sts" means each section of the pattern contain 10 sts. If you need to make adjustment to the project, you can then decrease of increase by 10 sts to obtain the stitch pattern.

For your project you canst on 130 sts as direct unless you want it to be a little bit larger.
