Mistake in starting cowl

by Michelle
(Los Angeles )

I have unintentionally started my cowl which is supposed to be stitched together at the end, but is knit together. Not quite sure how it happened but I cast on 143 stitches and did a single crochet in each stitch when I realized I had knit something together. Is there any way to to fix this so I don’t have to start all over again?

Hi Michelle,

Maybe you mistakenly grab the wrong end of the yarn. It is possible to cut the yarn at the center at tug ends behind stitches. This string looks rather short to me. This might be a problem.

I would start over since it's not too far along.

Sorry that you have to redo this.

Thanks for the visit and question.
