Knitting pattern help

by Cristen

I’ve started to decrease on little overalls on the front bib part. I'm just not sure what this is saying

On every knit row: k5, k2tog through the back of sts. until you have 7 sts. left, k2tog , k5

Do I need to keep knitting two together on the first row until I have 7 stitches left? Or do one decrease on each row!

decrease knitting pattern help

Hi Cristen,

You do decrease on each end on the knit row only (right side).
So, you do k5, k2togtbl, and then work to the last 7 sts, then k2tog, k5.

Then work even on the wrong side rows.

Alternate these 2 rows until further instruction.

Thank you for asking. Happy needling!

Ratcha
