Knitting pattern decreasing

If you have 56 sts on your needle to start dec (k3 k2tog k2 ) to end how many stitches should be left on the needles please help me if you can

Hi Beverley,

Thanks for the question.

You have 8 sets of 7 sts, that makes 56.
Each set has one decrease. So you would end up with 6 sts for each set. Therefore, you will have 8x6 = 48 sts. remains at the end of the decreasing row.
