knit front smaller than back

The back I have knitted is too big. Can I knit front smaller?

Hi Linda,

If it's not that much different then I think it's okay. If it's way to far off from on another then the pieces will be too difficult to put together, especially at armholes. It won't look right and you'll not like wearing it.

In my opinion, It's make more sense for the front to be a little bit bigger since we are all have bust and belly (for some) to fill in.

Hmmm this is tough. Maybe you can turn the back part into the front piece.

Anyone else has any thought on this? Please jump right in.
