k1, yo across the row

by Sandy
(West Seneca, NY)

My friend gave me a pattern for a cowl scarf knit on circular needles, 5 rows cast on 84 st
1- P

2- k1,yo across row
3-k
4-p
5-k, then repeat rows 1-5 once.

My question is on row 3 do I knit the yo's or drop them- unfortunately she didn't remember what she did. what would you recommend?

What to do a row after K1 yo across row
by: Ratchadawan

Hi Sandy,

I would knit every stitch including the yo sts. By knitting all sts you will remain the same number of sts when you repeat row 1-5. If you drop the YOs you will end up with half number of sts. and half of the cowl will be narrower.

Thank you for visiting and questioning. Enjoy your weekend!
