Joining 2 pieces of knitting together

by Nannette
(Scotland )

I am knitting a hooded jacket. I have completed the left front (with button holes) the back and one sleeve. This has been done as all in one piece. I am now knitting the right front.
The pattern told me to keep on hold when working the back of the jacket.
Once I have finished the right front piece it says to knit the right front piece with the back stitches.
I am unsure how to do this. Please help
TIA
Nannette

Hi Nanette,

From looking at the photos, It looks like you need to join the back shoulder seam and the right shoulder seam together so that you can work on a right arm.

Knit the back shoulder seam stitches and the right shoulder stitches together using 3 needle bind off method and then proceed to making the right sleeve.

I could be wrong because I don't have the pattern. It also could mean to start working the sleeve by knitting part of the right front and part of the back. It's unclear to me.

Is there a pattern that I can look at on the web?

Ratcha
