Increase pattern


I am wanting to increase a pattern. To do so it states “Cast on multiple of 4+3 then add two on each side for border”. The pattern is now:
K2 (pattern) K2, would it now be K4 (pattern) K4?

No, you would just want to add multiple of 4 sts into the existing pattern if there is already +3.

It will be like this;

k2, (multiple of 4) +3, k2
