How to move stitch on baby cardigan

Hi
I'm doing a baby cardigan and on the right front it's asking to move the k3 p3 along by one stitch on every alt row whilst keeping gst border correct. Totally flummoxed.

I finished this hat awhile ago but didn’t get a chance to post it. It is my experimental piece. The Pom Pom can be remove when you want to put up a pony tail. Thanks to my models who can tolerates such condition. :)
