how to make the dishcloth size smaller .

I find that 41 stiches is too many & make the dishcloth (pattern # 3 Little Arrow Head pattern) too big . How do I change the stiches in the pattern to obtain a smaller dishcloth.

The same request applies to Dishcoth # 1 Fern Dishcloth pattern .
Thank you .

Hi Ginette,

For the first fern pattern (#1), you can cast on 31 sts instead of 41 since the pattern is in a multiple of 10 sts. (not counting border sts)

For pattern #3, arrow head lace has 6 repeated pattern. You can cast on 6 sts less.

And if you want to make #2 as well, then take away multiple of 4 sts.

Have fun making the dishcloths!

Ratcha
