Does this mean to purl 3, knit 4, put 4stitches on cable needle in front, Then p3, k4, and then knit 4 stitches off cable needle?

It mean to p3, k4, put 4 sts on a cable needle and leave them in front of work, k4, k4 from cable needle. Repeat the whole thing again starting from P3.
