How to knit cable 10

Hi Eileen,

Thank you for sending in your question.
You can make either cable 10 front or cable 10 back.

Cable 10 front (C10F) is to work over 10 sts. Start out by placing the first 5sts on a cable needle and leave it at the back of work. Knit the next 5sts making sure the yarn is at the back of the cable needle and then knit the 5 sts on the cable needle. The end result is a left crossing over right.

Cable 10 back (C10B) is pretty much the same except you have to place the first 5 sts on hold at the back of work making. You'll get right crossing over left on this one.

Here is a video on C10F and C10B I happened to have made one.

I hope this helps. Have a wonderful evening!
