How do I uncurl edges on an acrylic yarn knitted scarf?

by Cindy Rice
(Oxnard, CA. US)

The scarf is knitted length wise and the edges curl up. The yarn is acrylic and therefore blocking won't help. Please advise.

Thanks so much!!

Preventing Curled Edges On An Acrylic Yarn
by: Ratchadawan

Acrylic can be blocked for a much better finished. I blocked all my acrylic because it just looks much better.

I do use warm iron to block sometimes with a lot of care make sure I don't set the heat too high. ( I wouldn't recommend this one)

If you don't care for those two choices above, then maybe adding some edging on each ends is the way to go. It can be crochet or small knitted edge.
