How do I knit from spare needle

by Amanda
(Washington )

I have a project knitting an elephant, I need to attach the legs to the body I am working on. The instructions say k8 from spare needle (right side of leg 1), then k18(the body), then k 11 from spare needle ( leg 2).

Hi all,

I can't access the pattern, but I found that many knitters have made this elephant and posted them on Ravelry's project library.
Perhaps, you could asking someone there since there had done the work.

Here is the link;

Hi,

You must have had stitches that are on hold on spare needles. Is that correct? You can start knitting 8 sts from the first spare needle, and then k18 from the main body and then k11 from the second spare needle.

If this doesn't sound right to you then I'm sorry. I could picture this wrong. It would be nice if I can see the pattern. Is there a link to it?

Thanks for visiting,

Ratcha
