How do I count my increase

My pattern says increase row increase, knit 3, knit 2 together. Do I count the increase as 1 of the three

Hi Leona,

Thanks for the question. The way it's written with the word "increase" and then k3 indicate that an increase is happening just before the k3. The increase stitch should be counted separately from K3.
