Help! 2x2 rib pattern in the round?

I’m knitting leg warmers In the round with 2x2 rib, 60 cast on stitches. K2p2 - The round ends with k2 which causes the next round to start with K2 = 4ks and throws the pattern off. What am I missing?

Hi Leslie,

Check your work again and you should find a mistake somewhere along the line. 2x2 rib is a multiple of 4 sts and it should work out evenly for "k2p2". You should have 15 sets of "k2p2".
