for each needle mean?

I'm knitting an Amardillo from where I found on the web. You can find it from "Don the Dillo" knitting. It says abbreviations but next to it says, 'for each needle' what does that mean??? I can't find anything on it.

Hi Cat,

I found the pattern and looked at it. I found the word "abbreviations" but count find "for each needle". Maybe I'm just blind!

Can you point it out for me? Usually when you see the word for each needle, it means that you will have to divide stitches on to each double point needle depending on how many the instruction wants.
