I have 2 questions regarding this pattern:

1) After I get my feather and fan pattern to the desired length, the next row is a decrease row. What is the stitch for this row? All knit?

2) Since I do not plan on inserting a ribbon, do I continue K1P1 on the next 3 rows before armhole shaping?

Hi Rica,

Yes, the decrease row is to knit all stitches using k2tog at the points where you want the decreases.

Yes, you can just continue with k1p1 before the armhole shaping.
