Double Sided Knitting - Knitting 2 colors separately to form blanket one color on each side

Years ago I had a pattern where you knitted 2 colors on same needle at same time. The outcome was one side was yellow and the other side was lime. I invited one for my baby daughter, when was born in 73. Can anyone help me.

I think I've found what you're looking for. It's called "double sided knitting". Here is a tutorial video by Joannesweb. She is the best!
