Decreasing for armholes

by Lynn Anderson
(Meredith, NH. USA)

I am beginning to decease for the armholes and the pattern says "decrease 1 stitch every other row. Wouldn't that mean all the decreasing be on one armhole? Does it mean 1 stitch each end every other row?

When you said to decrease at each end of a row, do you mean the beginning and the end of a row?

Hi Lynn,

Yes, everything you said above is correct. You do 1 decrease at each end of every other row.

Happy Knitting!
