Decreasing crown of hat

Hello,
I have Decreased the crown of a hat and my ~5-6” circular needles are too long to continue around the circumference. I keep having stitches slip off. Any suggestions?

Hi,

Looks like you’re using 16" circular needle. At this point you can change to double point needles with the same gauge as you circular needle. You can find many videos on YouTube or you can watch my video below. It’s not the best but it will help you understand the concept.
