Decreasing and keeping the pattern correct

Hi, I HAVE JUST GOT TO THE SHAPE ARMHOLES ON THE BACK OF CARDIGAN. I HAVE DONE THE FIRST TWO ROWS BUT CANNOT WORK OUT HOW TO DECREASE AND KEEP THE PATTERN THE SAME. PLEASE CAN ANYONE WRITE THE INSTRUCTIONS OUT FOR ME PLEASE.
AS ITS THE THIRD PATTERN IN THIS CARDIGAN THERE IS NO PATTERN AS SUCH TO FOLLOW AS IT STARTS WITH DECREASING.
I WOULD BE VERY GRATEFUL FOR YOUR HELP. MANY THANKS
