Counting rows when instructions say zero times

Instructions

I am knitting a sweater and the instructions for my size are:

repeat increase row every 3 (0) times then every 6th row 7 (8) times - my size is the zero / eight

So when will I do my first increase - row 6 or row 18? I.e. I’m confused whether I still count the “zero” rows (three times) and “skip” the increase for those 12 rows or just move on and start the increase at row 6..

Hope that makes sense.

Hello Kris,

You can skip the first increase. The first decrease for your size is on row 6. So, go ahead and do your increase every 6th row for 8 times.

Thank you for your question. Have a wonderful day!

Ratcha
