I am knitting a shawl, the pattern gives instructions for first 7 rows, it says work from part the same as for back of dress pattern , on the 9th row it says cont in pattern as for back of dress (as placed in last 7 rows) I don’t know what this means, there are 16 rows in pattern, can you help please.

Hi Gill,

It sounds to me like you have to repeat the last 7 rows that you just knitted after row 9. Once you complete them you'll have a total of 16 rows.
