Alternate Rows

Hi 😊

I’m following a knitting pattern that says - decrease one stitch at end of next row..

Then it says - then decrease the same every alternate 16th row.

So I took it to mean knit 32 rows with 16 rows (alternate rows) being decreased at each end.

I’m nearly done but have a lot less stitches left than I should.

Am I misunderstanding it?

Hi Helen,

You're right! but the pattern should have said dec every alt row 16 times. This one a bit confusing but you've got it!
