Adding extra stitches at beginning and end of row to form sleeves

by Janice Sibthorpe
(UK)

I can add extra stitches on the right side but how do I add extra stitches at the end of a row when I have to turn the work round and add stitches on the purl side, this is to make sleeves.

Shape sleeves
Next row. Cast on 3032:34:36:38 sts, k62|64:66:68:70], cast on 3032:34:36:38 sts.

Adding stitches at the end of the row
by: Ratchadawan

Hi Janice,

You add stitches at the end of the row by casting on extra stitches. You can use simple cast on or other cast on methods you like. When you turn work to work on the next row, you’ll have the cast on stitches facing you and ready to be worked on.

Thanks for asking. Hope this is not too confusing.
