Super Easy Baby Blanket Knitting Pattern for Beginner

blanket

Description

This cozy and cuddly baby blanket is knitted with a super soft bulky yarn.  I decided to keep the pattern simple with just a stockinette stitch and slip stitches at the beginning of each row.  The slip stitches give a nice clean finish look  to the edges.  If you’re a beginning knitter,  you’ll enjoy working on this blanket using just knit, purl and slip stitches.

You can make the blanket bigger by adding more cast on stitches and knit it longer.  Just don’t forget to buy more yarn.

Finished measurement : about 30” x 30”

Gauge:  Between 2-2.5sts per inch on US #11 (8.5mm) depending on your knitting tension.
