yrn and yo in the same pattern

Question: How do you do a yrn and a yo? Both called for in the neck warmer I am knitting.

Answer: Hi Viddie,

Thank you for the question.
Yrn or "yarn round needle" is done by wrapping yarn around the needle one time before moving on to the next step. And yo (yarn over) is done by bringing yarn over to the opposite site. For example, if your working yarn is in the back of work, you then bring it to the front of work before continue to the next step. People often use "yarn over" and "yarn forward" interchangeably.

I hope this helps.
