YF - turn - YF ?

by Cynthia

I have a jacket pattern - for the shoulder and neck shaping it seys to do the following :

sl 1, yf, turn, sl 1, knit to end.

What am I doing wrong ? When I go yf and then turn I am confronted by a yf .....doesn't make sense to me ... :(

Would very much appreciate some help as I am doing this project quickly to replace a shrunk-in-the-wash jacket.

short row turn
by: Ratchadawan

Hi Cynthia,

There are different ways of working short row. I think you did right but it's just look strange to you at first.

I think it will be helpful to see how other knitters manage the short row. Here is a sample video showing different way of short row. There are many more on YouTube as well.
