Working two sides of a sweater

chart arm and front edges

chart arm and front edges

What does this mean: SHAPE FRONT: On the next row at both arm edge and front edge dec 1 st. repeat this dec at front edge every 6th row to lower front edge and AT THE SAME TIME, at arm edge dec 1 st every 6th row 3 times more and work even.

Question: Do I decrease at both sides just the one time or more than once? It doesn't say how many stitches are left to bind off after this.

Need help on deciphering this!

decreasing arm edge and front edge
by: Ratchadawan

Hi,

On the next row (Row 1, right side), work dec 1 st on arm edge and front edge. Then work 5 rows even (end with completing row 6). Next, dec 1 st on arm edge and front edge on row 7(right side) again.

Repeat decrease of arm edge and front edge like this until you have a total arm edge decreases of 4 times and then continue working straight on the arm edge side. For the front edge, work decrease until you reach the length indicate for your piece.
Please see the picture of the chart I wrote.
Thank you for your question. I hope you find my response helpful.

Have a wonderful day!
Ratcha
