What is "knit 3 rows even"?

In a sock pattern for a baby, it says to knit 24 rows in ribbing and then 3 rows even. What does this mean?

To "Knit 3 rows even" is simply mean to knit 3 rows. I think it's just a way to say not to do any more ribbing.
