What am I doing wrong?

I’ve gotten to the end of the first eyelet row and I come up with only 3 stitches to knit. I’ve tried twice and rechecked the number of stitches I have… 31. Is there something I need to know about that last yo that I might be missing? I’m very frustrated because I really love eyelet stitch.

I sorry for the late reply. I have been on the road and WiFi is very limited.

I’m not certain why. I need some time to figure this out. I will get back when I find the answer.
