It says pattern 8 then turn

It says pattern 8 then turn

I am knitting Debbie bliss Aran coat with large collar and I am having difficulty understanding if I work the 6 alternate rows on the turned 8 stitches? Confused! Thanks

Hi Sue,

From what I see here in the pattern, you work sl 1, patt to the end on every other rows 6 times. Then you move on to the rest of the instruction.

So work on sl 1, patt to the end every other rows for 6 times first, when that complete you then do next row, part 25, turn work
then next row patt 33, turn and so forth.
