Trouble understanding specific pattern (baby bootie)

by Cathy
(Springfield, MO)

Knitting baby bootie. Working on instep and told to knit next stitch together with corresponding stitch 5 rows below ( which will roll it) I can't seem to do it.

It is a Debbie Bliss pattern - Booties with Blanket Stitch

Please help.

Thank,
Cathy

Look for a stitch that is directly 5 rows below your next st. (Should be on the same column) Then pick up that st with left hand needle and knit it together with the next st.
