Slip stitches

My pattern begins some rows with slip stitches. It does not specify front or back. Can I assume knit stitches is yarn in pack and purl stitches is yarn in front?

I don’t see where you want me to put email address for notification.

Slip stitches
by: Ratchadawan

Hi,

When you fill in the form during submission, it should ask for your email if you want to be notify. Maybe, there was a problem with it.

When I knit garter stitch, I slip the first stitch of the knit row knitwise and slip the first st of the purl row purlwise.
For the stockinette stitch, I slip the first stitch purlwise on each row and knit the last stitch every row.

Both methods will give nice looking chain edges.

Thanks for asking.

Ratcha
