Shaping armholes

What is “Dec 1 at each end of next three rows, THEN ON FOLL 4 ALT rows. Does it simply mean after increasing first 3 rows, I increase every fourth row after, until desired number of stitches reached? Using the word “alt” confuses me. It would seem that I’d always increase on the RS if that’s the case….

Hi Julia,

I know it's quite confusing.

You're right about the decreasing on the first 3 rows. After that, you do dec every other rows for 4 times. Yes, you'll dec on the right side.

Thanks for the question and have fun knitting!
